Water is the most important nutriment we must intake, and often the most forgotten one.
A human being may resist some time without food, but only a few days without water!
Your body lean mass contains about 70 percent to 75 percent of water. This water percentage is higher on athletes because of their improved muscular mass.
To drink at least 1,5 L of water a day is fundamental for athletes and non-athletes, for elders and for youngsters.
