It won't be necessary to buy new dishes, just use those you already have at home and chose the smaller for your meals, like lunch and supper. Researchers from the Cornell University  have discovered that just by eating on smaller dishes may decrease your calories intake by  20 to 22 percent. And more, this may happen without having to change anything else about your diet.
It makes one wonder!
