To minimize waste of foods, prepare some less quantity than the food you think you'll need, because usually the trend is to prepare too much.
 

Store in foodstuffs containers for conservation and so that left-overs may be brought back home, however, always avoid perishable food that was not stored properly or was left to room temperature for more than two hours.
