In Summer green beans are more tender and tasty. When eaten raw, in a salad, we get a sixth of vitamin C we daily need, but as well vitamin E, A, B and K, besides iron.

This vegetable may be eaten raw, boiled, in soups or stews and pot-stewed mix vegetables.
