Citrus Food: Studies performed have shown that vitamin C, present in citrus fruit, reduces cortisol.
Cortisol  is the hormone responsible for anxiety.
 

Oat: Contains tryptophan that enhances the production of serotonin (a neurotransmitter that gives us the wellness sensation) .
Selenium is also excellent for the nervous system.

Banana: It also lowers anxiety. Banana is beneficial as well for a good night sleep, due to its levels of serotonin that helps to be in a good mood and to relax.
Serotonin assists the production of melatonin, the sleeping hormone. Its richness in vitamin B also calms down the nervous system.
