To mix foods is very important to accelerate your metabolism and control your hunger.
You will feel full and satisfied if you join in a meal, for example, carbohydrates and protein, rather than if you would eat just one of those foods alone. And if you had some fruit for your afternoon snack and you’re still hungry, then add some nuts, fresh cheese or yoghurt.
When it gets to mixing foods, an easy rule is to remember to eat at least 2 different groups of foods to obtain a healthy and satisfactory meal.
