Malnourished children in Portugal
When there is so much talking about obesity being the modern disease of the world, truth is that Portuguese children already feel the consequences of ages of crisis and difficulties among thousands of families, with poverty and child shortages becoming a priority in the national panorama.
A survey in 2014 covering about three thousand children, between 8 and 12 years old, has revealed, in contrast, that most of obese children belong to low revenues' families.
This study also showed that 39,4% were overweighted children, and 15,8% were really obese.
