Is it wise to remove the egg yolk?
Eggs are a source of iron, phosphor, potassium and proteins, but if we remove the yolk, the yellow part, we lose most of its vitamins and minerals that are so profitable to our body.
The other part, the egg white, is a transparent substance containing 60% of the total protein that an egg contains, while the 40% left of it can be found in the yolk.
It is important as well to remember that the yolk has high leves of colesterol, and that is also why eggs must be consumed in moderation.
