In Summer drink citric fruit juices, such as orange, lemon, lime, grapefruit and tangerine, kiwis, strawberries, mango, guava and gooseberries. You can also prepare soups with bonnet pepper, cauliflower, parsley, potatoes and sweet potatoes, Brussel sprouts and broccoli to help your skin recover from the sun effects.

Ascorbic acid is important for the production of collagen – a protein giving structure to the skin, muscles, vascular tissues, nails, cartilages and bones. Vitamin C is fundamental for the mouth's health, gums and teeth.
