INDIGESTION OR DYSPEPSIA
TIP OF THE DAY from our Nutritionist Dr. Tomás Barbosa:
It is not a disease! Dyspepsia, also known as indigestion, is a term that describes discomfort or pain in the upper abdomen. In the majority of cases, indigestion is linked to eating or drinking. Overeating and consuming greasy foods, as well as too much alcohol, can cause indigestion. Correct dietary choices, giving preference to quality than to quantity, can avoid dyspepsia symptoms.
