Give preferance to wholefood, like cereals, bread, rice and pasta. They are richer in fibres and nutrients, and are more satiating.
 

Have a proper breakfast, a moderate lunch and a light dinner. Eat fruit between meals, or a low-fat liquid yoghurt avoiding to be too many hours without eating something.
