The importance of carbohydrates for children.

Carbohydrates are an important energy source, especially for children in growth process, and as they are always in the move they need some "fuel" for their daily activities!
Carbohydrates also favour a child body to use fat and protein to build and repair body tissue.
 

Keep in mind: carbohydrates come in different sorts (sugar, cereals, pasta and rice), but children should ingest more cereals, less pasta and rice, and above all less sugar.
