SUNSCREEN OR SUNBLOCK
TIP OF THE DAY of our nutritionist Dr. Tomás Barbosa:
They’re two different types of sun protection. Sunscreen is a chemical defense, penetrating the skin and absorbing the ultraviolet (UV) rays before they reach and damage the dermal layers. Sunblock is a physical way to defend against UV rays. It sits on top of the skin and acts as a barrier. Both provide protection from the sun. Your skin type should be a consideration when choosing the right product for you.
Call our International Call Center (+351) 21 458 85 00 and find what’s your skin type, the Time-Scanner exam also allows the early detection of premature aging of facial skin.
