A healthful diet, varied and well-balanced help us to live longer, but there are especially remarkable foods in regard of longevity, and peas are one of those.
Peas contain lutein, an antioxidant that supports protecting our cells, eyes and skin. Because it is so rich in fibres, peas tone the stomach stimulating the hepatic function. Especially rich in calcium, magnesium and phosphorus, complex B vitamins, folic acid, potassium, zinc, iron and betacarotene, peas reinforce the immunity system and protects the body from lung and stomach cancer.
