Besides its playful use, pumpkins are good to eat and of low caloric value. It’s a leguminous plant rich in provitamins A, vitamine B and C, magnesium, calcium and iron. Pumpkin may be cooked for soup, puré, au gratin, as a soufflé, a tart, or steamed. Some even make jam of it. Pumpkins are not just to scare off evil spirits, but also to put away virus of the autumn season.
