Broccoli are a true “bomb” in what concerns fighting cancer and also protecting lungs, they help blood pressure control, improve our natural defenses, avoid stomach problems, turn your eyes even prettier, they balance sugar in the blood, and a lot more.
This vegetable has no waste, since everything is eatable – the stalk, the leaves and the flowers.
If we had to line-up all super-foods, broccoli would be in first-line.
In average, depending on the way broccoli are cooked, 100 gr of flowers contain 47 mg of calcium, and 100 gr of leaves have 51 mg, something around 5 times more the dose of calcium existing in milk.
