TROUBLE LOSING WEIGHT?

Some people find it harder to lose weight than others, but why is this? A new study has identified a molecule in fat cells that could also be responsible for it. Researchers found that the fat cells of people who are obese show higher expression of a molecule called lysyl oxidase (LOX). TIP OF THE DAY from our Nutritionist Dr. Tomás Barbosa: 6 To do your physical exercise, a spacious room surrounded by mirrors is not necessary… You just need 5 sq. m. of clearance, enough for exercising with your body weight, jumping, dancing, doing push-ups, planks, squats. To have your practice varied and thrilling, consider investing in some basic equipment, such as elastic-resistance training, a horizontal bench, a non-slip exercise mat, a jumping rope or even some dumbbells. What’s important is that you keep moving at least 20 minutes, every day!
