Truth is that when it's cold we feel like eating heavier and more caloric food! But the secret for not putting on weight may reside in a few details.
For instance, for your night meal you may change from smashed potatoes to a carrots purée. A dish that may go well along with white meat and fish, grills or stews, and food made in the oven.
 

Ingredients:
700g carrots;
Thyme leaves;
Salt.

How to prepare:
Thoroughly wash your carrots unpeeled. Cut them on small slices and cook them in some water. Put the thyme leaves and salt to your taste. Place the cover on the pan and let it cook for about 6 minutes. Immediately after, smash the carrots in the pan.
