This little fruit piece may well be an excellent snack for your afternoon break! With a hard peel and a soft pulp, it has very little calories (each fruit has around 28Kcal), while a pear, for instance, has about 68Kcal, more than twice as much!

With a strong antioxidant power, passion fruit is rich in vitamines of complex B, vitamine A and vitamine C (antioxidants as well), iron, calcium, potassium, phosphorus and soluble fibre.
Passion fruit may be taken natural, and then you just have to cut in half the fruit to reveal its pulp, which is easily taken out with a spoon, or used to make desserts, fruit juices, shakers and ice-creams.
