In Spring and Summer, green beans are more tender and tasty.

When we eat them raw, in a salad, we get a sixth of the daily  needed quantity of vitamin C, but we are also getting vitamin E, A, B and K, besides iron.
This vegetable may be eaten raw, cooked, in soups or stews and post-stew.
