This pleasant taste and refreshing food is full of water and fibres, also containing vitamin C and traces of vitamins E, K and B6.

The most common way to use it is in salads, but it is splendid as an appetizer, cut into strips to dip in a yoghurt sauce, and it is excellent as well in cold soups, such as gazpacho, or even transformed into juice.
