It's no coincidence that these two themes are joined the same day, recent studies indicate that sugar may be worse still for hypertension than salt!

Evidences from epidemiological and experimental studies pursued on animals and humans suggest that sugar added to carbon hydrates highly refined, may increase blood pressure and variability in arterial pressure, boost heart frequency and the need of oxygen, causing resistance to insulin and metabolic disfunction.
